Top 10 YMP teachers 2013

“If you plan for one year, plant rice. If you plan for ten years, plant trees. If you plan for 100 years, educate mankind” – Chinese proverb

Teachers dedicated to education for sustainable development (ESD) are one of the most important assets in the effort to build a sustainable world.  Consequently, teachers are the cornerstones of the YMP. Their participation is a prerequisite for student involvement in the course.  Active teacher participation adds value and quality to not only their own student’s learning experience, but also to the learning experience of other teachers and students in the global classroom.

The performance of each YMP teacher is reflected in the amount of credits and awards they receive while active in the course. It is based on the level of activity and communication in the programme, and on the performance of their students.

Today the YMP team is honored and pleased to announce the top 10 teachers in the program for the year 2013. The YMP Team with and on behalf of the YMP students thank you for your outstanding commitment, effort and time, commenting our work and coaching us to get a richer education on sustainable development at all registered schools in the YMP around the world!
